What is a Nazi?

An Anti-Semite? A white supremacist? A hater?

Or, maybe… your strawman?

What is the contemporary understanding of the term, ‘Nazi’?

Is it that of a Right-wing extremist? A racist? A totalitarian monster? A murderous, unethical pariah? A judgmental caveman?

Would you perhaps consider:

That the actual definition of a Nazi is entirely rooted in a collective system of government?

That such use of the term is nothing more than a juvenile, misplaced and exaggerated epithet?

That your use of the term is merely as a smear to disparage your political opponent? To prevent his garnering societal/political leverage?

That you may garner said societal/political leverage? Or that a proxy/contemporary of yours may garner said societal/political leverage?

That the subject you target is actually a ‘strawman’?

How is that, you ask?

Are not some systems better than others? Are not some individuals better than others?

Or are all values equal?

Might you agree that all variations of government are established to commandeer and exert power to exact social control?

Might you then agree that the variation of government with the least inclination to commandeer and exert power is a Constitutional Republic?

And that all of the collectivist systems of government are more inclined toward the totalitarian monster that you find abhorrent?

So why throw out the smear, Nazi, against the individual or the system least inclined to impose on you? While you seek the system most inclined to impose on you?

Isn’t that a false proposition? I.e. a strawman?
