Who do you trust?

What criteria places them in your trust circle?

Is it your natural, default perspective to just presume trustworthiness?

Does that not place you at a disadvantage, even into jeopardy?

Should we simply trust government or an enterprise and their respective agents by default? By presumed altruism? By the ‘system’s’ built-in guardrails? By statute?

Might not said statutes be considered ill-advised? Imprudent? Paralyzing? Unwarranted?
